Elizabeth Mora // Attorney

Liz attended the University at Albany and graduated magna cum laude in 1994, majoring in Political Science with a concentration in Political Theory and minoring in French.  While in college she interned as a legislative aide for NYS Assemblywoman Sandy Galiff.  She went on to attend Albany Law School and was a member of the Environmental Law Journal as well as the AIDS Law Clinic where she represented  clients before the Social Security Administration.  She interned as a Junior Law Clerk for the Honorable Appellate Court Judge Thomas Keegan.  She graduated in 1998 with Honors and was admitted to the Bar in 1999.  Prior to joining the firm in 2019 she worked for the law firm of Ryan, Roach & Ryan in Kingston, NY representing insurance carriers.  After taking time off to raise a family, she made the decision to return to practice in 2016 representing claimants before the Workers’ Compensation Board.   Originally from Upstate New York, she currently resides in Ulster County with her husband Brian, daughters Bella, Alina and Ava and a loveable morkie terrier named Chili.  She is fluent in Polish and studied the clarinet through college as a member of the University at Albany Symphony Orchestra.  In her spare time she enjoys cooking, reading and taking advantage of all that the beautiful Hudson Valley has to offer including attending weekend classes at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY.
