Jennifer A. Baltrush

Jennifer A. BaltrushJennifer A. Baltrush joined the firm in July of 2008. Jennifer concentrates her practice in the area of Social Security Disability and Supplemental Security Income, and assists with the workers’ compensation practice by attending hearings, participating in depositions with medical providers and drafting memoranda of law, appeals and rebuttals. 

Prior to joining the firm, Jennifer worked at the Center for Independence as Director of Advocacy, where she advised consumers of their legal, economic and civil rights under the federal and state laws protecting people with disabilities. She also represented consumers at hearings before the Social Security Administration. 

Jennifer grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Alfred University in May of 2002 with a B.A. in Political Science and Communication Studies, and a minor in Public Law. She went on to Albany Law School and graduated with a J.D. in May, 2005.  While in law school, Jennifer worked for the Office of Children and Family Services – Day Care Division, the United States Trustee’s Office and also participated in the Albany Law School Low-Income Taxpayer program through clinical studies.  She enjoys reading, watching movies and spending time with family and friends.

Jennifer is admitted to practice before all New York State Courts, and is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Albany County Bar Association.
