James D. Oppy earned a B.A. in Philosophy from SUNY at New Paltz in 1995, and went on to enroll in a joint J.D./M.B.A. program offered by Union Graduate College and Albany Law School, graduating in 2002. After graduation he worked for both for-profit and not-for-profit companies in the metropolitan New York area. After joining the bar in 2005, he went into private practice, and has worked for several law firms in upstate New York. He now focuses primarily on workers’ compensation, New York State Disability Retirement and Social Security Disability.
Jim lives in Guilderland and enjoys sailing with his family.
